Revenue sharing software
Revenue sharing that runs itself
Revenue sharing software takes every paid invoice, works out what each partner earned under your agreement and writes it to a ledger the moment the payment succeeds. FractionalPay does that for every renewal, upgrade and refund, then pays partners on your schedule.
It is built for the CFO or founder who owes a share of recurring revenue to resellers, integration partners or co-founders of a joint offer, and who is tired of rebuilding the same spreadsheet every month.
- Every renewal split again, with partner lines that expire on time
- One ledger that answers how much you owe whom right now
- Money stays in your own payment account, we never hold it

Worked example
One customer, thirteen invoices, three parties
A reseller brings in a customer on a 2,400 USD monthly plan. Your agreement pays the reseller 20 percent of every invoice for the first 12 months. An integration partner whose connector the customer uses earns 5 percent for as long as the subscription runs. Your company keeps the rest.
In month 2 the customer upgrades to 3,000 USD. In month 13 the reseller term ends. Nobody edits a formula: the rule already knows the percentages, the end date of the reseller line and who receives the remainder.

Each invoice gets its own split and its own balanced ledger transaction, tagged with the rule version that produced it. If you change the agreement in month 7, invoices before the change keep the old numbers and later invoices use the new ones, so history never moves under your accountant's feet. Recurring splits and time-limited partner lines are part of the Growth plan.

Automate or keep
What belongs in software and what can stay in a spreadsheet
Not everything about a partner program needs a tool. Deciding terms is a business conversation. Applying those terms to hundreds of invoices a month is repetitive arithmetic with a long tail of exceptions, and that is where revenue sharing software earns its keep.

The rule of thumb: if a task happens once a quarter and needs judgment, a spreadsheet is fine. If it happens on every invoice and a mistake means paying a partner the wrong amount, automate it.

For the CFO and founder
One number you can defend in every partner call
Partners ask the same three questions: what did I earn, when will I be paid, and why is this month lower. With a ledger behind every invoice, you answer from a screen instead of rebuilding the month. The statement lists each invoice, the rule version and every reversal.
The money itself never leaves your control. Customer payments land in your own platform account at a licensed payment operator. FractionalPay calculates the shares, keeps the ledger and sends payout instructions to that account. We never hold, pool or transmit funds, and we are not a payment institution.
- Balances per partner, by currency, at any date
- Monthly statements and CSV exports for your accountant
- Tax form status and yearly earnings statements on Growth
